3-Minute Theory: The 20s Guide

This episode felt like a time capsule, full of chaos, beauty, risk, heartbreak, growth, and unexpected wins.

We unpacked:

  • What your 20s are really about

  • Why discomfort is your teacher

  • How failure doesn’t define you - it reveals you

  • And why your only job is to keep trying things until something sticks

MIND – Think

"Nothing changes if nothing changes."

This quote was repeated for a reason, it’s the core truth of your 20s.

We covered:

  • The illusion of needing to “have it all figured out”

  • How most people stumble into purpose by trying a lot of things

  • Why comparison will steal your joy

  • And how identity comes from experience, not perfection.

Don’t chase the perfect plan.

Chase momentum.

The clarity comes after the action.

BODY – Do

Try This: The “Five Pillars Check-In”

Draw five columns. Label them:

  1. Physical Health

  2. Mental Health

  3. Relationships

  4. Career & Finances

  5. Values & Self-Discovery

Each Sunday, rate them 1–10 and ask:

  • Which one needs love this week?

  • What’s one small action I can take?

Example:

“Career is at a 3. I’ll reach out to someone I admire this week for a chat.”

This is your compass.

HEART – Feel

Ask yourself:

"You don’t need to have it figured out. You just need to stay curious."

There was so much vulnerability here:

  • Burnout, therapy, failed relationships

  • Losing money, starting over

  • Not knowing what “values” even meant at 21

But the real lesson?

Every time you tried, even when it didn’t work, you grew.

And that growth becomes the foundation of the next decade.

A Piece of Us

Rupert: “Always follow your gut and your heart. At times, I avoided problems because of fear. I trusted someone to do a job for me, not only did they fail to fulfil it, but they also took advantage of me in the process. Was I too nice? Not watchful enough? Maybe both.

Business is complicated because it involves people. But the truth is, I was manipulated and reassured that things were being handled when they weren’t. And in the end, the responsibility always lands with the director. It sits with me. That’s exactly why we must always know our own boat, even when there’s just a hint of a leak, before it turns into something far worse. No matter how small the issue feels, it must be checked.

Never be afraid to trust your gut. It teaches you as much about yourself as it does about others. I let myself down in this situation, but I won’t live in blame. All I can say now is: good. The lesson is learned. And now, we move forward.”

Konrad: “I’ve been questioning my habits and everything I do. In my head, I want to have this perfect day… And I struggle to put everything in one day, because I do have a lot of plates to juggle. One thing that I’ve been missing this year is scheduling my time for specific tasks. This is going to be my #1 priority next year, to have everything pre-planned, in a diary, ready to be actioned. If I don’t have it structured, written down, I shoot myself in the foot and cause stress, simply because it wasn’t actioned properly.”
